Master's Thesis Policy - Third Option

If a master’s program plans to pursue the Third Option in the RCR Academic Policy for Master’s Thesis Students, the approach must include no less than four instruction hours in a credit course on the RCR topic areas. The course must cover at least four of the topic areas.

A master’s program must submit a proposal to the GT RCR Advisory Committee by the first working day in November of the current academic year in order for the Third Option proposal to be considered for the academic year that follows.

Important: The Third Option does not satisfy the in-person RCR academic requirement for doctoral students.
