These responsibilities include making sure that students, postdocs, and faculty/staff covered by one or more of Georgia Tech's three RCR policies receive the required training, and that PIs on covered projects follow proper RCR compliance procedures throughout all stages of the award. Beginning with new proposals submitted or due on or after July 31, 2023, faculty and other senior personnel funded by NSF to conduct research will need to participate in Responsible and Ethical Conduct of Research (RECR) training.
