Important Notes About RCR Workshops and Events

  • Each workshop session satisfies one contact hour of the in-person RCR compliance requirement; the number of hours required varies based on sponsor and career stage.
  • In-person can include synchronous video-based meetings.
  • Attendees may register for each session individually but should avoid repeating the same topic if possible.
  • Undergraduate students needing only one contact hour are encouraged to attend the research misconduct session.
  • Other RCR training events, including those offered by the Library or hosted by other programs, will be listed on the Upcoming RCR Events sidebar.
  • Training such as research team meetings - which are outside of approved RCR courses and events - must be documented by the PI. For information about how to get in-person RCR credit in the training system for these events, refer to Resources for Research Team Meetings.
  • To receive notices for upcoming workshops or other RCR events, subscribe to the RCR Training Email List.
  • Refer to Workshop FAQs for additional information.
